She loves to create deliberate collisions: beauty and longing meet raw power. Delicate songwriting dances with bloodthirsty noise rock. Chaos, thoughtfulness, noise, and silence seem to fall in love. She's been described as the lovechild of The Kills, PJ Harvey, and Mazzy Star—but she undeniably also has a sound of her own. Since the release of her debut album in 2011, ROXY JULES has established herself as an experimental and uncompromising artist. Her songs are fragments of lived memories and vivid fictional narratives that could be scenes in films that haven’t yet been made. She encapsulates the ephemeral beauty of life’s fleeting moments, the fervor of human emotion, and an intrinsic yearning for an indefinable freedom. Her melodies rarely take the easy path. Instead, they stumble and soar over the unpredictable obstacles ROXY JULES deliberately places before them—forcing them to find new ways forward, making the songs all the more captivating and unforgettable.  ROXY JULES has four full-length albums, three EPs and a vast number of concerts behind her. Some of her singles have been on high rotation on Danish national alternative radio P6 and have been featured on quite a few blogs and playlists around the world.
